    "Preparing to Move to Trash message won't go away
    I tried to drop an file from my flash drive into the trash. Now the Trash message says it is preparing to move to trash and it has been spinning for like an hour. If I click the little X at the end of the twirling blue rod it highlights a new message "Stop moving items to trash" but it won't allow me to click. The only button that works is the minimize button, the others are greyed out.

    Is the flash drive write protected? Some can be set up that way.
