IE doesn't remember the maximize setting so it is basically useless. So next time you open your browser, change the size of the page by dragging the edges to an almost maximized position. Now, when you open a new page it will open to the size you previously created. However; periodically, your browser may revert to opening with small windows again (reason unknown). If this does happen, repeat the resizing process again.
