New laptop, lost my wireless ability, I messed around a bit, and still cannot regain,
New Gateway laptop, awesome, however, I just lost my ability to pick up any wireless signals. I did go in and mess around with some commands, and now I cannot get the wireless function at all. The signals are there as I used other home laptop to be sure.

What did I turn off? I checked the wireless is turned on.

    Help.

Look for a switch on the side or top to enable wireless.

Please try this, the switch to activate the wireless is Fn+F2, press both the keys simultaneously and check the signal on your laptop. For Some Gateway, it simply activates when pressing F2 or on some cases Fn.
Also check for a switch on the side of your laptop with a tiny antenna symbol, you'll see a slide beside the antenna symbol and a led will blink when it's switched on or activated.

    Good luck.
