    My Network Places missing in task bar ?
    My friend having problem My network place icon missing in his Taskbar.he checked all setting everything is OK and restored " MY N/W Places" but no result,he log off,log on and restart also no changes. The thing is when he shutdown his machine and start once again getting network Place icon in Taskbar.Is anybody have idea about this problem please.help him. Thanks you.

    Note: He is using Windows xp service pack 2.

    I think what you are referring to is the activity monitor on the network card.
    This is enabled on the appropriate network card with a simple check box.
