    Netscape 6.1
I have a fairly new Compaq computer running windows Xp. It came with both browsers - explorer 6.0 and Netscape 6.01. My problem is that I cannot delete history items, either individually or the whole cache from Netscape. I have no problems with explorer - but the same procedure doesn't work for Nescape? Please help!?

4.8 has no problems whatsoever, and is available from the Netscape site.
I've heard nothing but bad news from Netscape 6 and 7 versions. 4.8 suits me just fine... note that you can make your 'cookie' file 'read-only', so you no longer receive cookies. It's easy to shut off java (no more pop-ups), and you can set up multiple users that include multiple e-mail accounts.
