    Making a Document List
In Vista HP, is there any way to create a WP doc (I'm now using wps./Works) with the names of all documents from the document list in a particular folder found under "Documents" in the start menu? The docs themselves are not WP files. Thanks.

    Open a command prompt/DOS window.
    Type cd\"Documents and Settings\your login name\My Documents"
Substitute your login name with the name you use to login to the computer.
    Type dir *.* >myfiles.txt
Type exit. You'll be returned to windows.
Look in the My Documents folder and open the myfiles.txt with Works.

If you print a listing of directory contents often you can use a great free little utility: Karen's Directory Printer

Document to novel [ 1 Answers ]

I have written a document that I would like to turned into a book. However, I am really not a writer, just someone who came up with a good story. Are there people around who take another person's story and make it into an interesting and entertaining novel for others to read? If so, who are they...
