    How to change from dial up to wireless?
    I have just changed my hp computer running windows xp to wireless from dial up. The computer shows internet connection is strong (to sky)and is connected but when I click internet explorer it shows web page unavailable and tries to dial up to freeserve! the old way! How do I get onto the internet using the internet explorer icon and stop the bloody thing trying to dial? Any help appreciated otherwise it goes out the window.thank you

    Start with the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, select Internet Options and then the Connections tab. Adjust to "Never dial" or as you deem appropriate. If dialup is never going to be used again, any dial-up entries listed could be deleted too.
