    enabling cookies
    Launch Internet Explorer 5

Choose the Tools menu in the menu bar and select Internet Options from the menu.

Click the Security tab. 4 icons will be displayed in the window:
    Local Intranet
    Trusted Sites
    Restricted Sites

Click the Internet Icon. There will be a slider for selecting your security level for internet sites.
Make sure that the slider is not set to High. Choose the level of security that you are comfortable with.

Follow the same procedure for Trusted Sites and Restricted Sites.

    Click Apply, then click OK.
