Dows the monitor have a color button on it? Is it changing from amber to green or on some blue? What type of video card is in the machine?

Is there an actual video card in a slot or is it part of the motherboard (built in) ?

Either of those a fairly old. Try removing and reinstalling the card. Also while you have it out inspect for corrosion. You can clean the tabs with a new pencil just make sure the erasure is clean. And run it on the tabs to make sure they are cleaned up before reinstalling in the machine. See if it doesn't power up then. If it doesn't then its either a card or a monitor cable.

    Thanks

There are lots of reason when your moniter isn't show any images if your video card is new and working properly then check your rem because rem is also responsible for display.
