Computer questions
I've just bought an external 1TB hard drive, because even after I have defragged my hard drive I don't have much space left, where do I plug it in, is is in the front with the little door drops down, or is there any sockets in the back, I don't want to put it in the wrong spot, and damage my computer.

My modem keeps freezing, and I have to keep unplugging it, for a few minutes, I'm with SKY, and sometimes this happens about 5 times a day, getting really pissed off with it now, should I change to the BT Dual broadband.

If your external USB hard drive came with a power brick any USB port is OK. If its a portable type that gets its power from the port itself, its best to use a port in the back. Back ports are connected directly to the motherboard and supply more power to devices than the front ports do. Read the instructions that came with the drive.

I should have mentioned before, defragging a drive doesn't give you more room, it orders files so they open and respond more quickly. If you want to recover free space on your C drive you have to get rid of things (or uninstall stuff you don't use). Having a new external drive will allow you to move photos videos and music from C to the external. If you use the default locations for downloading and or allow Windows to put music in the music folder videos in the MY Videos etc. it will continue to do so. You can usually find an option to select a different default location for downloads. Most browsers will offer you the chance to select from 3 choices. One is the default the browser wants, the second is a specific folder you assign, and the third would be "ask me every time" where each download opens a browse window for you to select a location. Ask me every time is my favorite. Even if I do not have a folder there is usually an option to create one so I can make a folder to download into (E>Music>Albums>Back Street Boys) I actually hate the Back Street Boys that's why I used it, to be funny.
