Computer gives 1 Long(ish) Beep with No Signal to Monitor!
My computer was working perfectly fine yesterday, and today when I went to turn it on I hear one long(er) beep and I get no signal on my monitor. Both my mouse and keyboard light up, and I can hear the fans running inside the computer very fast. I have opened it up and made sure that nothing was loose, and I have tried turning it on with both the mouse and the keyboard detached.

Any Suggestions? I'm feeling like it's a problem with the monitor at this point since it appears to be the only thing not getting any type of power. When I move my mouse around the light on the monitor stays yellow like its just not receiving any signal.

Here is a link to beep codes, they are fairly common between systems and there is no listing for one long beep just 1 long and 1 short or 2 short. See if it helps. Besides the motherboard (if the system has on-board video) I would venture to say its probably a video problem with the board or card if the system has a video card. If it has both, you can go into the bios and set the system to run from on-board video, then shut down, move the monitor to the on-board connector and pull the card out to see if it runs that way.
