    Check to make sure you don't have a floppy disc in the drive.

    No there is no floppy disk in the drive,it booted up OK before but now it just says insert system disk ,which I don't have, I cannot get boot up from hard drive with setup, which was how I did it previously, only floppy and cd rom but these won't boot up

    I'm afraid to say then that this normally indicates that the hard drive has failed.
