Need a better way for net service living in multiple cities
I live in 3 different cities and have separate internet service in each of those places. Obviously two of the services are going to waste while I am in any one city. Is there a better way, a better service to save me internet costs?

There is a service called Clear (wire) but it does not operate in two of my three cities. This would be an ideal solution if I could just pack a modem where ever I go.

I can see where you're coming from as paying for service when you're not even in town seems a bit too much. What kind of cellphone do you have? Have you thought about tethering your cellphone? That way you can use it only when you need it and you're not over-spending!

Let me know what kind of phone you have and we can explain further. Also, tethering has limitations, so it also depends on what you'll be doing on the internet!

Both my wife and I use Iphones with Mac laptops. We have wireless networks/DSL in all 3 of our homes (CA, HI, MT). There is no cellphone service in MT.

We use primarily email and web surfing.

I tried a friend's Clear 4G mobile modem that plugged in my USB port of my laptop in Hawaii and it was spotty and not dependable.

    Thanks for your advice.

I have used the Iphone wireless modem app before and it worked good. Using this app, and keeping servicein MT would cut down on two location costs.

Other then that I don't really have another idea!
