    Hi, Trevor Easton!

Also, what is the mint mark on it and do you know the graded condition of it?

    Thanks!

Well, not to give you a short answer, but the answer to your question is "whatever a collector is willing to pay for it." What kind of condition is it in, does it have a mint mark, is it some sort of misfit (these are very rare), etc. For a penny of average condition from that era I'd say probably $.02 or $.03.

To my knowledge, steel pennies were only minted during 1943.

Conversely, in 1944, a few steel cents were minted as a consequence of leftover steel planchets joining the flow of copper planchets.

So, 1943 copper cents and 1944 steel cents are off-metal strikings. These are the most famous of all mint errors. Moreover, as there are no extremely rare dates in the Lincoln Cent series, wealthy collectors often collect certain errors 'as if' these were regular issues and include them in sets of Lincoln Cents
