How to calculate load distribution in a framed truss member?
I am needing to build 27' trusses which include the soffits. I need the center height to be approx. 5'. What kind of truss should be built and what kind of details can you give me? I'd like to build these myself to save some money. Also, can I use all 2x4's or should I use 2x6's?
I have a manufactured home in Trinidad, Colorado with a garage dormer built into the roof. I want to build a sun room off that dormer and need scissor trusses with the same pitch, I'm not sure what that pitch is. I'm looking for a source and contact information for a company who can help me...
The trusses are 12 5 pitch I want to cut into them a foot It's a metal pole barn, its 12 foot high I want to make it 13 foot high Is this feasible? Thank you John
