    An "offering", a "donation", it depends on what your trying to word it for.

    If you are asking in regard to the biblical word I guess it would be "tithe".

    Yes, you should tithe (you're 10%). An offering is different than your tithe... but we're all just guessing here because you didn't ask a question. ;)

    The IRS doesn't require documentation of religious contributions. I don't know why your church would need one. Just take the money.

    What is it that you're trying to do?

    If it's for the tax write-off... then your church should have sent you your receipt for the year.
