If it's been three nose bleeds in the last seven minutes, it's probably actually one nose bleed that hasn't fully stopped. They can be persistent. It can take a while to really stop. Have her sit down, head forward, with kleenex and recognize this is common and not a big deal. It's probably from dry nasal passages. Just like we get chapped lips in winter weather, the nasal passages can get irritated and crack and little capilaries can start bleeding.

Hey so my boyfriend is a wrestler at Ohio State and he just started coughing up blood, having nose bleeds, and was fatigued during practice to where drinking water burned his throat but he refuses to visit the doctor. Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it?
