I just turned 21 n was hoping I can get guardianship or custody of my sister. She is 16 and pregnant and lives with my grandma because my mom is abusive. I've called dhs on her multiple times for myself and my sisters they are young and I fear she will hurt them. My 12 yr old just was raped by my father and now she's in a mental placement for children. My mom is very unfit and she put him before her own kids. I live not to far from King of Prussia it's a very nice area with very good schools and I want my 16 yr old there with me because now she is being attacked by my mothers mom. (the apple don't fall far from the tree) and she's depressed and stressed while pregnant. My whole family is against me but I am not giving up ! I want the best for and they are all I have left.

Yes, I would start with the social worker in charge of taking your 12 year old sister away from the home. You will apply to Family Court. Good luck - I hope it moves quickly. Is there any chance your mother would allow her to stay with you for weekends just for now?

No she hates me. Smh she wishes she would have gave me away. I can only go by the law with this one. And my 12 yr old sis is not going to her house they are trying to find a home for her now. I am hoping they pick me. I know its a lot taking on this responsibility but I am willing to do it hands down. Just need to contact the right people
