My children want to come home.
I don't have money for an attorney, last year my ex-husband took me to court and under temporary orders won joint custody with exclusive right to choose where they live.He lives in austin and I live in san antonio. They had to change schools and totally uprooted their lives. My oldest is 16 and I have twins that turned 12 in January. How do I take him back to court so they can come home?

How much visitation/contact do you have? When will the final hearing be? Is there any reason you can think of why you would not be granted custody at that time and the children will remain where they are... could this be the reason why they are not with you right now? You may want to look into legal aid (you can do a search online for your area or check your phone book) to find support and information since you can't afford an attorney. There would usually have to be a pretty compelling reason for them to be moved back again. If the children want to come back, the judge may discuss the situation with them to hear what they have to say as well.
