My boyfriend was arrest for child abandonment in Georgia
My boyfriend was arrested in 2008 for child abandonment in Douglas County. However he stopped paying in January because she wanted an outlandish amount and put himself on child support on February 8, 2008. He was not legitimized yet, until he took a paternity test in February 2008 either. He has a court date this month and we are trying to get information on what to expect and what is needed. Also, the woman has been vinditive. One she knew he put himself on child support and the child support office stated that shouldn't have happened. Also she has hacked into his email, sent emails to me, and too mutual friends. HELP.

You can expect him to need an attorney. There appears to be no stay on the original order pending his appeal of paternity.

And in GA there is no outlandish amount if the father supplies income info. It will be about 25 percent of his gross pay in child support in GA, with some factors taken in.

And a person does not "put thierself" on child support, to get child support you have to file a child support order in court, the father would have been served notice of the hearing to provide his evidence.

So he needs to change pass words, And not to something that she can think of, most men pick their dogs name or their car or some name they remember, and girlfriends know this.

No, the mother wanted 770 a month, this is before child support was started. So instead of paying what she wanted he put himself on child support and do the right thing. Because she did not like this and she knew he put himself on child support, she decided to say he abandon the child even though he did not sign the birth certificate yet.

Yes, you can put yourself on child support he did. And they are taking money out of his earnings. He has not had a hearing.
