    It is just dry skin on the baby's head/creases. It is harmless and isn't really preventable. It isn't related to hygiene or allergies so washing your kid twice a day won't help. All you can do its treat it as it comes along. Keep it clean, shampooed and lightly scrubed. There really isn't any other remedy.

    Cradle cap is a disease only seen in neonatal babies - within zero to ninety days to mature. Dermatitis could be a greasy yellow layer of rash on the scalp of babies. Cradle cap isn't known to possess itchiness effects on babies and so babies don't seem to be bothered a bit by symptoms of this disease.

    Cradle cap isn't a bacterial infection, therefore it's not contagious.     Cradle cap is a form of dermatitis on a baby's head. Honeycomb disease is a lung disease. They are not related.
