    No period for 7 months HELPPP!
    I am having great difficulty trying to find out why I haven't gotten my period in 7 months, I am only 17... and I had got my period when I was 14 and it was fine until resently it stopped. I have done EVERYTHING to my knowledge and hope to find answers on here. I've gone for many tests like blood tests to determine if I have;
    Diabetes,
    Problems with my diet/eating habits,
    Thyroid problems,
    STD's,
    Blood disease,
    Abnormal hormone levels,
    As well as;
    Pregnancy tests,
    Ultra sounds,
    Pap tests,
    …what else can they do.

    The only thing that I haven't really figured out is, I had an abnormal pap test and they were going to send me to get the abnormal cells frozen and taken out, when I got to the place they booked 6 months in advance I found out the place had moved 7 months before that….doesn't make sense I know….so I called the new place gave them all my info and they said I wasn't in there books at all…I phoned the doctors office and they still haven't gotten back to me…its been awhile

    What could be causing me not to get my period…allergies, abnormal cells…perhaps something else.

    PLEASE HELP ME :confused: :confused:
    Thx, ashley:)

    Keep calling until you get another doctors appointment. There could be several factors involved.

    Remember, stress can also have huge affects on your period.

    Do you have weight problems? I was very underweight at one point and mine stopped but I guess you thought of that.
    But yer you should call the docs again and keep on till its sorted.

    You could have polycystic ovaries syndrome (PCOS) which affects the hormone imbalance. Ask your doctor to test you :)
