    Ear needs to be popped, won't
    I woke up this morning realizing I could barly hear. That's when I realized my ears were clogged I spent about twenty minutes: yawning, swollowing, holdling my nose and blowing, with little succes.
    I then realized that there was a lot of wax so I took a q tip and got about five hundred punds out of my ear. Well here's my status now. I keep blowing my nose and sometimes it feels like I popped it but then I go back. Please what can I do to get rid of this.
    Ps ( I have poured salt water down my ear little succes, I am at high altitude 4600 ft but I lived this high all my life, there is a lot of smoke in the air cause of forest fires)
    Please help.

    I heard chewing gum helps. Have you tried going to a doctor?

    My daughter recently had to go to the doctor because she complained to me of hearing loss. The nurse checked her hearing then looked into her ears. One was full of wax. She then washed (squirted) the ear canal with a syringe full of warm water and a bit of hydrogen peroxide. The wax came right out.

    Sometimes when ears feel like they need to pop, the trouble is your sinuses. Have you tried a decongestant?
