    Child fever
    My 9 yr old son woke up this morning with body aches and a tempeture of 103.6 I have him a dose of children's Tylenol . When should consider taking to the hospital

    See how he does with the Tylenol. How is he acting? Appetite? Possibly just the flu since it came on suddenly, but see if his fever goes down and he feels a bit less achy after he has had a dose or two of Tylenol.

    If you feel he is getting worse or temp starts going up instead of down, you can always call his doctors office....they will usually have someone on call available to return calls.
