    how many oxygen atoms on the right side of the following equation?
    Alx(SO4)3 + 3 Ca(OH)2 --> 2 Al (OH)3 + 3 CaSO3

    You have 15 O atoms on the right hand side of the equation.
    The problem is that you have 18 O atoms on the left!
    Something must be wrong.You probably mean:
    Al2(SO4)3 + 3Ca(OH)3 > 2Al(OH)3 + 3CaSO4 18 on both sides.
