    diagram a chemical equation
    How would you diagram a reaction between 2 Molecules of HCL+1 molecule of CO2 into a beaker of H2O?

    I'm not sure what you mean by "diagram a reaction". While CO2 will dissolve in water, to form "carbonic acid",

    CO2 + H2O = H2CO3 = H+ + HCO3- = 2H+ + CO3--

    adding an acid tends to force the equilibrium back to the left.

    Are you talking about reaction kinetics here?
