    Removing cover to replace CD ROM
    How do you remove a cover on a compaq presario 5000 to replace a CD ROM and add a DVD plarer?

    I have worked on so many different types of cases that I can offer this advice: they are all different. It's very annoying. Some cases require that you remove the front cover/bezel before being able to access the front bays. Then there's the issue of unscrewing the CD drive. :) Good luck!

    If you go to HP.Com click on the tab for support and drivers, enter your exact model and you should be able find out the specifics on your computer. You can also email them or call them and they will tell you how.
