CDRW + DVDRW- Clicks and pops heard when listening to CDs
Why do I hear clicks and pops behind the music. Sometimes loud sometimes not. I'm using Windows XP Pro, Wind.MediaPlayer 7. This desk computer Dell PC. Updated drivers, still clicking. Cleaned drive with 'Drive Guardian' every day. Still clicking.
CDRW is about 4 yrs. Old.
New (used) DVDRW was working, now error message says "...wrong file extention...". Sometimes it opens, but I still hear the clicking. Please tell me how to fix. Is it software or hardware. I am in Toronto, Canada and am a computer dinosaur!
    Thank you,Aquareii
