    First, I moved this from intriductions since that is clearly marked as NOT the place to ask questions.

    Second, have you checked under the CMOS setup to see if its recognized there? Did you check all the cables to make sure they are attached correctly?

    Has it ever worked? Can you give us more specs about the PC?

    If they show up in Bios but not in windows, you can try deleting the upper and lower filters

    Open Rededit and browse to

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-
    BFC1-08002BE10318}

    Now backup that key by going to File > Export and same it as cdfilters.reg

    Then on the right side, right-click on UpperFilters and select Delete, and Ok on the confirmation box, do the same for the LowerFilters

    Now restart the computer and they should be back
