    CD doesn't work
Ok, everybody seems to have (I guess) a desktop. But I have a Sony Vaio laptop with Vista.. . And It just won't read ANY disk! I mean, I tried everything I have! It recently stopped working, but I didn't really need to install anything.. . Until about August. I have tried everything from every other site.. . But nothing seems to work. Help! 8(

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

What messages do you get? Its possible the drive has died and needs to be replaced.

Have you recently uninstalled any CD/DVD burning software?
