Why would my cat do this?
Me and my family were eating dinner when my cat started to sneeze, about ten times in a row maybe then started walking in circles. She's always been a healthy cat and hasn't ever had any problem before but tonight she started to walk in circles. She circled on her left side, she just kept circling, she didn't stay in the same spot, instead started heading from the table to the hallway [which is about five human steps from each other]. She didn't meow, she didn't seem to have any other problems, just circling. I picked her up and checked her whiskers 'cause I learned from my past that that tends to break their coordination, they were okay. Her head had wanted to stay to the left then I pet her and it flopped to the right. She held her head up after a few moments of petting and was fine, she didn't continue to do anything after that. So could it be ear mites and we itched them for her by petting? We've had the cats get ear mites but never circled. She had given us a scare of course, she is now around 6 years old. Does anyone know a cause or is it nothing?

She could have anything from an ear and balance problem to distemper. (I have seen a dog walk in circles with distemper before dying.) See a vet.
