    What's wrong with my cats?
:( I have two cats. Ziggy is my big boy and Natasha is my little girl. We recently moved to a new apartment. It is much bigger and nicer than the last. On top of that we took the cats to the vet and found out they had worms. They have been treated for this problem. Over the last few weeks I've noticed Ziggy is developing a bald spot on his side. There have been many changes in his life recently. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to help him. On top of all of the other things we were told to put him on a diet due to his plumpness. We also are the new proud owners of an english bulldog puppy. I realize this is a lot of sudden and dramatic change in the cats lives. Is there anything I can do to make them less stressed and feel more comfortable? I feel really bad about his hair loss and I can't help feeling it is my fault in some way. Aside of getting rid of our newest member of the family what is there for me to do? Any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to getting a response.

Try making one room dedicated for your cats until they have adjusted.
Let it be a quiet room with their food, toys and litter box and keep the dog away from them until they have adjusted to their new surrounding and are no longer afraid.
    Hope this helps a little,

They have their own room away from the puppy. My main concern is that they feel secluded and left out. Any other suggestions? I try to spend alone time with each of them. My biggest problem right now is my 4 month old puppy needs constant attention and dicepline. My cats do however come out at night when he is asleep. Occasionaly I can get them to sleep in the bed with me and my boyfriend. We've had the puppy for about 4 weeks now. Do you think more time is required for adjustment?
