    Hello Jenn,

Cats can catch a cold in the same way we humans can, but there is also a very nasty condition known as cat flu (Parvovirus).

From the symptoms you describe I must advise you to get your cat to the vet as soon as you can.

If it is cat flu it can be treated and the more quick this treatment is started the better.

Your vet will be able to investigate, diagnose and treat the condition your cat has.

I am wondering if there are any symptoms you have missed. Difficulty in breathing, wheezing etc.

There are other causes for runny noses and sneezing and I would suggest you visit:

Your pet is obviously in discomfort and possibly pain. So please get him checked over by your vet immediately.

Please let us know how he fares.

    Good luck.
