Toilet trained kitten is peeing outside the box...
My 13 week old kitten has peed outside her box 3 times in the 5 weeks I've had her. This has happened while the box was cleanish- i.e. we cleaned the box 2-5 days ago, and she has used it since.

She always pees on the same spot and its not one I can restrict (corner of the living room). I also don't know hat could be causing her stress- no new people / animals in the house.

Can anyone give me advice? Thanks

Have you changed litter brands? Does she pee outside the box after the litter has been used? (Maybe she wants you to scoop out the used litter.) Does she share the box with another cat?

Has she been checked for a UTI?

She went to the vet last week and she has been given a clean bill of health.

We are using those silicon beads so she should be OK to reuse the box (we are changing it every 2 weeks). We changed the box last night, and it partially has a new brand. She peed outside the box this morning, but she did poop in the box earlier in ths new litter.

And she has her own box but will sometimes invade my other cat's box. My other cat doesn't invade my kitten's box.

I hate to tell you, but those silicon beads are like little knives slicing into a cat's paws. My cats HATE that kind of litter. We have four cats (and have had cats for years) use the scoopable stuff. It's our hands-down favorite.

You should also be cleaning her box at least every other day...

We have four cats and four boxes, and clean them (scoop out the used litter) every night before we go to bed. We thoroughly wash the boxes once a week and put in all new litter. Cats are very fussy, even about their bathrooms.
