My cat has no energy, but has been extremely vocal.
I've noticed over that last day and a half that my cat has no energy at all. She typically will run away the moment I open my bedroom door and beat me to her food dish, but this morning that was not the case. For the last few weeks, she has been extremely vocal, at all hours of the day. The type of meow changes from minute to minute. She eats some, but not a lot. Less then ten days ago, she had a vet appointment, and they ran a blood test, but mentioned nothing new. She has been on Methimazole to help treat hyperthyroidism, but there was a change in the dosage, from 2 5mg tablets a day to 1. Any ideas?

Is this an older cat? You know they are fininiky little devils at times. Mine is, and she is eight with no medical problems. She is actually a pain in the butt in the morings!

Meowing- pain or nausea maybe? Does the vet know about that?
Mine never meows. She makes tiny squeaks.

My first ever kitten, now 6 months, is a morning PITA too. A Holy Terror for an hour.

Hi wew, older cats are susceptible to many ailments as they get older, urinary tract infections can be quite painful for them, diabetes, kidney infections. So maybe a trip to the vet is in order to her checked out properly.
