Poor little kitty
the other day, we noticed our 12 week old kitten Luna had a very sore eye: her third eyelid was severely inflamed. she could not open her eye, and it was so bad, it looked as if her eyelid was protruding OUT of her eye socket (poor thing) so we rushed her to the vet who told us she probably scratched it herself, or while playing with our other kitten Gizzmo (same age) and she gave us anti-biotic eye drops. her eye cleared up almost instantly...
BUT! just now, we noticed her eye was inflamed again, and now it is watering rather badly, and it seems to be bothering her much more than it did before (but then of course, she is wearing a protective cone around her head, so maybe thats why shes so melancholy)...we are first time kitten owners (at least by ourselves) and need some advice ASAP!!! pleeease help us out! we're worried sick!! ty |

Just curios as the why the cone is on her head :confused: I'm sure there is a good reason, I just can't think why you would need a cone for an eye irritation... unless she is separated, the other kitten would be very curious about the cone! She could have scratched it again or she could have something else wrong... Take her back to the vet and see what they say. If it happens more than once they might be more inclined to do some tests. |
