    My cats having kittens!
How do I know if she is done giving birth? Its her 1st litter she's only about14 months old she started yesterday had 1 then another born dead. She's eating & taking care of the kitten but I think I can feel one in her belly but she not contracting. Am I just paranoid?

You should take her to a Vet - if a kitten is "stuck" it will kill both of them.

Don't mean to alarm you but if you don't know what you are doing, if you don't understand the pregnancy and birth, then you really shouldn't be breeding your cat - or allowing your cat to breed.

Someone else is going to come along, I'm sure, with other advice.

Nope, you pretty much said it JudyKayTee, Get her to the Vet, I am an experienced dog breeder and even if a litter goes perfectly, we still get the vet checked just to make sure there are no underlying problems.
If there is a dead kitten that is breech and unable to be passed by the mother is can poison her system and cause a multiplex of infections.

I've never heard of a cat not birthing all of her litter. I'm sure she did birth all of her kittens.
