    Fleas on kittens
My cousins kittens have fleas, all over them, they just opened there eyes so I'm guessing there like 10-12 days old, and she doesn'T know how to get rid of them. When I noticed them I immediately stopped touching them afraid that I would bring the fleas home to my dog. And she wasn'T even worried that they were infested with fleas, her response was*It's not like I can get rid of them, and there only fleas*. But I watch animals cops all the time and they say fleas can make kittens or puppies anemic. Is there any way to get rid of the fleas?(Keep in mind they are only like 10 days old.)
    Thanks.

Tell her to give her kittens up as she clearly is neglecting them, she shouldve gone to the vets and the vet wouldve treated it. Why has she got kittens when she doesn't know how to look after them.call rspca or another animal welfare organisation and get them taken away

Many of the flea control products that are safe on adult cats are not safe for kittens less than four months of age. Fleas do not stay on your kitten all of the time. Occasionally, they will jump off and seek another host. Therefore, it is important to kill fleas on your new kitten before they become established in your home. Be sure that any flea product you use is labeled safe for kittens.

If you use a flea spray, your kitten should be sprayed lightly. For very young or small kittens, it is safest to spray a cotton ball and use that to wipe the flea spray on the kitten. Flea and tick dip is not recommended for kittens unless they are at least four months of age. Remember, not all insecticides that can be used on dogs are safe for cats and kittens.

She really needs to call her vet and ask for intructions it is quite normal for kittens to have them they gain them from the mother, As for your dog catching them as long as it is up to date with its treatment why are you worrying??

Just remember start at the heart of the problem treat the mum that way the fleas will jump back on her and will die...

I asked a question, to help the welfare of these kittens. My cousin is simply uneducated, on the matter, but still loves the kittens. And I know that she will do what she needs to to rid the kittens of fleas. She isn't loaded with money and can'T take them to the vet unless it is a necesity and only when it is the last resort. And our spca won'T take them anyway, therefore if it wasn'T for her they would likely be dead. She just wanted help to know how to fix the problem. And how could it be neglect, she wants to help them she just doesn't have the resources. We our trying to get the kittens help, and you just start ripping my cousin a part, when we just asked for some help? :(
