Sara - Cause of Death?
My 7 year old cat, Sara, was found on my neighbor's driveway dead. She was a good girl, passive. This past year, the dominant cat, Dusty, kept chasing her out of the yard and fighting her. Of late she had been losing weight and was so so hungry she would eat two plates of food.
When I went over there to get her, I noticed she had long orange fur in her mouth. There was a little bit of blood on one side of her mouth. It didn't look she was hit by a car, there was no blood under her, or well, a half squished face. It looked like perhaps she crawled to the driveway as her legs were "akimbo"? Is that the word? Is there a chance that Dusty killed her? Pam |

Sara, Im not sure if you are still connected to this site or if you will get my answer.
I don't think Dusty could have killed her directly, even if they fought. I found one on the side of the road with blood coming from its mouth too and no other apparent injuries. Chances are it got hit somehow and died. I ran across your other post about collodial silver and the kittens and then wanted to answer you about that one before I saw this one... I think all the kittens were exposed to the upper respiratory infection and there wasn't anything you could do. It sounds like you did your best and I'm very sorry for your losses. People were extremely rude and judgemental to you... apparently never in your place. You did your best.. I hope you are OK... Thank you for trying your best. God Bless you. |
