Help!! Cat never been anywhere but 2 places now 3.
I have had my cat sense birth, I moved out of my home when he was a kitten I had other cats one of which was his mother, I couldn't bring all 7 cats so 6 of them was brought else where and orange dude hid so I ended up keeping him. Well we lived in our next home for 6months and just had to move again and now orange dude won't come out to play potty or anything just hides under bed. What can I do to make him comfortable, I'm sure he remembers the last move and feels like the same is about to happen to him. Like he's going to b taken away to new home like them. I treat orange dude like he's my own child and this makes me sad that he's now scared of me

Please give him some time. I have 5 cats, and they all get along. They like a place to hide every now and then, and one or two don't come out all day sometimes.
Your cat is still getting over being changed around, so please give him time. Good luck.

Cats hate change. Make sure he knows where his litter box is and his food and water dishes too. Talk to him a lot and reassure him that way. Sit on the floor near his hiding spot and talk, talk, talk to him. Sing too in a soft voice.

I agree with fredg and Wondergirl. Just give him some time and let him hide. He'll come out on his own. I've moved numerous times with different cats over the years, and it's common for them to hide at first. Don't worry, it'll be OK.
