    Eye mucus in a kitten
I just got a two month old kitten last week. I have noticed a white slim coming from her eyes when she wakes up. She keeps squinting the one I noticed it most in. We got a three month old with her and she seems fine other then sneezing. Should I be concerned?

Sounds like she has an upper respiratory infection.
She should be due for vaccines shortly anyhow, you should get her to a vet.

If it is a URI - it is contagious. I would separate them for now.. but sneezing is most likely the beginnings of one, so the three month old may have it as well.

Could it be a cold? Oour place get pretty cold and we use a spray bottle to disapline the cats. Could they have it from getting wet?

Use a warm, damp cloth to gently clean her eyes if she seems to have trouble doing so herself.

She seems to be able to clean them good herself. Is it normal when they have a URI for them to sleep a lot?

It's normal at that age for them to sleep a lot. She's still a baby, so she'll sleep more than an adult cat.

It's caused by a virus, not cold or spray bottles. Sariss is right, you need to get her to the vet. Please keep us posted! :)
