    My cat is vomiting tonnes of blood!
    I have a 8 year old cat named scratch and she is very ill. We recently put up are christmas tree with lots of tinsel. We have done this every year for a long time, scratch usually tries to eat the tinsel but we just take it away and there is no problem. This year a few days after putting up the tree, scratch began puking and first we didn't think anything of it but the next day she continued puking and refused to eat. This is very uncommon because she is normally overeating. Today, she appeared sick when I came home, and later when went into the room there was blood all over the bed around her and on the floor. She is quite and hiding when normally she follows us around.She is sleeping lots and it appears she is having some trouble breathing. She will not eat or drink! I am very worried and will probably be taking her to the vet in the mean time what do I do?

    Take her to the vet ASAP. Tinsel is very dangerous for animals.
