Cat licking a lot and losing hair
 my cats name is misty, she is probably about 5-6 years old! Recently about 2 weeks ago i noticed she started licking a lot and now she is missing a large amount of hair, like patches around her little body, and she has gotten really skinny. She is eating like a mad women and i don't know what is wrong with her. We plan on taking her to the vet but i was wondering if anybody knew what could be going on. Nothing has changed, and she does not have worms. Please let me know what you think.. i am very worried, she is my baby and she acts just like me... thanks so much!

If a cat is licking that much its normally flea allergy my mother in laws cat will lick her tummy clean of fur at the end of the 3 months when she due her next treatment.
As for the eating lots and lots and weight loss I would definitely get the kitty checked out and sooner rather than later our fur baby's are special and can't tell us there poorly its us as owners that have to take the leap and get them seen good luck and do let us know what the vet says.
