OK so this cat I have was abused by her owner before I had her and very skinny I nursed her back to health and noticed she was pregnant well yesterday she went into labor had one very small kitten then nothing had after that she is very calm and loving not uncomfortable at all but I'm very nervous hat her or the other kittens are going to pass away it has been over 24hrs since the first kitten and sadly the baby didn't make it I have already call a vet and the want 1300 to check her out I don't have that so what should I do?

What on earth would a vet do to "check her out" for $1300?? There seems to be a miscommunication problem between you and the vet.

Call a local animal shelter to find out which vet they take their animals to. He/she will be low cost. Call and make an appointment.

If your cat is calm and comfortable, that may have been the only kitten inside her. Now get her spayed please (and that is very affordable).

Then turn her over to a shelter and let them deal with the c-section. She will die if the kittens are left inside her.
