My cat has turned crazy
Hello, my brother and his son (my nephew) came over this morning and my 1 year old cat all of a sudden started acting like she wants to kill everyone in the house. She is growling and making all these weird noises. She hides under the bed and fights when I,or someone else walks by.Nothings really happened and she's never acted like this. Then sometime when I get close she acts like she wants to be pet a lot and she makes these strange noises.Shes never been outside, but never has my other (older cat). The other cat has nothing wrong with her. What should I do?

It could be any number of reasons.
Is she spayed? Is your other cat an unneutered male? If she is not spayed, she might be in heat, or she might be pregnant and I would suggest that you get her spayed as soon as possible.
If she is spayed, is it possible that the last time your brother or nephew was around her they might have done something to her that she viewed as a negative? Is she still acting strange after they leave?
If she is acting the same way tomorrow, I would take her to the vet this week for a check up to make sure everything is okay. If she is back to normal tomorrow, I suspect there is a good chance that one of them either accidentally or intentionally hurt her in some way and she doesn't want to be around them.

Never been outside? Cats just don't belong in cities.
I'm pretty sure that now your cat is getting a little older, she is beginning to defend her territory.

In thinking about L.D.'s answer here, I am wondering if this is the first time that your brother and nephew have met your cat. If that is the case, than Lord Darkclaw is on target.

I don't live in a city I live WAY WAY WAY far from a city I live 25 miles to a town.
I can't let her go outside because there are dogs outside and we had a male cat that could open doors and got outside and died... But they are both female cats and the vet said she wasn't old enough to be spayed yet.She has been in heat before and she just meowed a lot she never attacked me,she's never hissed or growled at me either. The other cat has been spayed and I'm getting angry at this cat.

I think you either need to have a talk with your vet or find another one. At one year old, she most definitely can be spayed. And, it sounds like that is the crux of your problem with her. Please don't be angry at the cat. It isn't her fault. Think about us women when we PMS! All those hormones surging can be a bear at times. We just hope and pray our loved ones understand and don't take things too personally! :p
By the way, I commend you for not letting your cats out. I live in the boonies and my neighbors let their cats run all over the place. We have some wild animals here that will target cats if there is nothing else to eat. And, my neighbors call me wondering why their cats haven't come home! I can't seem to get through to them that this will continue as long as they let their cats roam. It is hearbreaking.

Well My brother and nephew went home and she calmed down A LOT,but she still will attack once in a wile and she wants attention all the time.I have scratch marks all over my hands from her because I had to save my nephew and lock her in a room and put things under the door.(Somehow she crawls under the space.)I'm sorry for grammar errors I've made I'm only 16.Also thanks for the quick answering.:) The reason I don't let them outside is because of the first one that when I came home from school I found him outside(still alive)and brung him inside but it was no use... It sucks when you live a long way out and you can't go to a vet.Ok the vet told me that she was too young to get spayed but if your sure she's old enough I'll go get it done.

Dear Colbert--
I would ask your brother if they have any pets or if they had been cleaning with chemicals earlier that morning. Your cat may have been responding to a scent he brought into the house. Good luck.

Yes, speak to the vet again. I know it is difficult when you live so far out and away from everything. I have the same problem.
Since I now know your age, I am assuming your nephew is a baby. Yes, your cat was responding to something from your family. Her reaction gets heightened when she is in heat. Hard to tell if it was the baby smell, some other animal or scent your brother brought in with him.
Yup, get her spayed as soon as possible. The vet may not want to if she is in heat, which is understandable. The blood vessels are enlarged at that time and it can complicate surgery. Just have him examine her and find out when you can schedule her for surgery. Good Luck!

Maybe take her to the vet see what the vet will do. If nothing then maybe have her locked in a room and leave her there for 1 hour and don't check on her and when the 1 hour is up then see if she has changed.
Lluv I won't to be a vet
