    My cat
My cat has been acting very strange lately ever since we got a new cat for Christmas but Ever since we got our new cat our previous cat has been acting strange. All she does is lays on the bed and doesn't move from that spot and every time we look at her she has a sad face. She barley eats anymore she doesn't come to us when we call her and when we make her walk she loses her balance

    I see two issues:

    1. Cats are territorial, so she is not liking the fact that she is now having to share the space. There are good methods out there for getting the old cat used to the new one, but it sounds like you are beyond that now.

    2. As for your old cat losing her balance, that is probably a separate issue that you should consult a veterinarian about.

In the meantime, you should pay some extra attention to your old cat so that she knows that you still care about her. Give her some extra attention and goodies (wet food, toys, petting, etc.).

Let us know how it goes.
