    Best way to transport kittens
OK so I love my kitty, she gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens about a week ago. Unfortunately I have to move out of my apt TOMORROW. Its quite a long distance (2 hrs) where I'm moving and I have to do it by car (no a.c.).
I'm worried about transporting the kittens in such hot weather, can anyone give tips about the best way to bring them all to my new place safely? Don't be afraid to be detailed, I need the advice - thank you all

If you have room in your car for a cage big enough for the mother, and the kittens.Maybe like one for a small dog. I think that would be good. Because your going to want to keep the week old babies with the mother.. Maybe lay a blanket down for comfort.Try to keep a water dish in the cage for the mother. As for the heat Im not sure what you should do there. But most importantly drive Safley :)

Do you have friends with air-conditioning that can move the cats for you? If you can't, I'd suggest going with a wire cage. Pad the bottom with towel, etc. And then I would drape the top with a towel that has been soaked and wrung out. You want it damp, but not dripping. Arrange the towel so that it provides shade, but doesn't block air flow entirely. I have no clue if this will actually work, but I think it should keep the temperature around the cats a little bit cooler, since the heat will have to dry the towel out first.

Try ice blocks under a towel under them in a cat cage?
