Truck fan blower is frozen I think
Washed my truck yesterday, it was cold out,but not below zero. I've washed it before and haven't had any problems with this before. For some reason, today the heat won't turn on. The defogger works in the rear window and all the lights, radio, engine fine. Just no blower.
Husband thinks it blew a fuse, and it should be fine when it warms up outside to a warmer temp. I hope it's just a fuse that's all to fix it.

No clue and frozen in Mn

It's probably just a coincidence. The problem could be a fuse, a bad blower motor or a bad blower motor resistor. Check the fuses first; that's the easiest fix. Let us know if that took care of it or not :)

Thanks for your quick reply! My husband actually said the same thing. He thinks it's just a fuse. Hopefully it will be just that! But thanks for the other two suggestions. I will make note of them now. Thanks again for replying!
I just signed up on this site this morning too... hehe..

We have a Coleman generator that has been working just fine. It has set outside in the bed of my pick up in 30 degree weather for a couple days. I moved it off the truck into my carport to prepare for winter outages. Last night the power went off so I proceeded to run the generator. After...

I have a Lennox electric furnace that's about 10 years old or so, the elements come on but no blower. There is a summer fan switch that will make the blower run when switched on, but it will not come on with a call for heat. Also at my work, there is a york gas pack that is probably 15 years old....

Ok, my boyfriend got pulled over this morning and was told to get out of his truck. The police then searched his truck (tore apart his truck, is what he said) and then they said "oh, sorry, we have the wrong guy". Is there anything he can do here? He has no criminal past (few speeding tickets)...

Frozen snow blower starter [ 2 Answers ]

I bought a sears 5.5 hp snowblower recently. I think the starter froze up because the power cord doesn't pull. After reading the manual, I was suppose to while the engine was running pull the cord 4-5 times before shutting it off to prevent this from happening. How do I unfreeze a snow blower...

Frozen air handler [ 1 Answers ]

My husband just went under the house to check the ac unit and it appears that the air handler is frozen. He believes this has been what's causing our ac to go from cold air to room temp. over and over. What do we need to do to keep the air handler from freezing?
