    Timing belt?
My 1992 honda civics engine light came on. My car boggs with an irratic idle when I stop at lights. Noise and vibration in distributor cap. Could this be a timing belt problem or should I just do a tune up?

Distributor bearings may be shot. With the engine running, use a large-handle screwdriver or mechanic's stethoscope to verify. Remove distributor cap and look for red dust covering everything. If the distributor housing is bad, replace with a genuine Honda distributor housing.
