Sounds like the Window Motor.
You need to remove the Door Panel & check the 2 wires at the Window Motor for Voltage.
It will be a Reversal Rest at Ground Circuit.

Sounds like the Blower Motor Resistor, which is located on top of the Air Box. When the Blower Motor Resistor goes bad, it only works on High.

The Installer should have use a Wiring Adapter & nothing should have been connected to the Factory ILLUMINATION = red/black + wire. If there is... disconnect it.

Yes it is a Ground wire. If your House wiring is of the old type with just 2 wires, then the Green wire can be connected to the Metal case of the Ceiling Mount box... if there is no 3rd bare copper...
